Star wars rebels, (season 1-3)<br/><br/>Let me start by saying that this show ain't bad, yet it is obviously not mature enough to be called good Star Wars cannon. The story is often lacking with episodes not following up most of the times. But most of all the major battles look like small hooligan brawls, if you are told to see the empires massive forces attacking the main rebel force and you only see 20 storm troopers during the whole fight you just realize something is off.<br/><br/>Decenta Star Wars introduction for young kids, yet even 16+ won't be entertained with it all that much. For more mature star wars cannon i recommend watching 'star wars the clone wars series', especially season 3 and on due to graphical improvements!

Star Wars Rebels, Episode 4 - Rise Of The Old Masters, is that episode!<br/><br/>Unlike the 'all action no content' boy driven Clone Wars animation series, Star Wars - Rebels is a smartly written series for girls and boys alike with wonderfully inventive and often moving characters. Underneath the humour, action and slick animation is simply great storytelling with the same moral compass at it's core, that the first Star Wars trilogy was built on.<br/><br/>Unlike a lot of children's TV, Star Wars - Rebels is not dumbed down. On the contrary it is not afraid to reflect real world events with all it's horrors and Episode 4 is no exception. Rise Of The Old Republic gets pretty dark, when a surprising and somewhat haunting plot reveal brings home the shocking genocide of the Jedi. <br/><br/>Throughout the series, between the light hearted humour and exciting adventure, you genuinely feel moments of danger and oppression for the rebel characters. The Inquisitor, the Empire's new bad guy, is a smart and cunning Charles Dance-like menace that threatens our heroes very existence. If you have children (boys or girls) and appreciate good writing, then this new Star Wars adventure is definitely worth a visit!

The genetically engineered former Republic clone trooper Rex. Former Jedi Ahsoka Tano and the protocol droid Chopperthey fight back against the evil Galactic Empire and to free the planets from it's rule and battle the evil Imperial Forces led by the Imperial agent Kallus. Lando Calrissian, Princess Leia Organa, Bail Organa, Darth Vader, R2-D2, C-3PO, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, Yoda, and Obi-Wan Kenobi have all appeared at least once.
